This experience enabled him to work alongside some of the most renowned Michelin starred chefs such as Cédric D'Ambrosio while continuing to evolve his career as a chef. Chef King Enekeme burgeons taking you on an amazing culinary journey!
His style of food is primarily gleaned from his British-Nigerian heritage. Growing up in the North West of London he was also influenced by West Indian food culture, which can also be seen in elements of his dishes. Chef King Enekeme has also expanded his knowledge of food by extensively travelling the world to cities with a culture of great cuisine. Food is always at the helm of any culture and it is his wish to see more foods of African culture brought to the world of high-end cuisine. It is his belief that African cuisine is underrepresented in this area. His food is audacious and is fortified with everything the ancestors have passed down.
There is a saying in Nigeria, "Àse", which simply means, "It is well", and this is the guiding principle for all his creative works.
"The best feeling in the world is seeing someone smile because of you"
